We would love to have a happy minyan one of these days during chol ha'moed. If anyone knows a place where we could hold such an event - post below. Also, just comment in general if you are around for the holiday and if you are interested in being happy and davening at the same time.
Even if we don't pull together a minyan for chol ha'moed, don't despair...

ReplyDeleteI know it is far but we are hoping to have happy-type happy Minyan in the Young Israel of Plainview Young Adult Minyan.
All star guests include: Yoram, Big Kirsch, Little Kirsch, and maybe the Roysmans.
All are invited.
I dunno of a happy minyan down south, and there certainly isn't one at Ner Izzy, but I extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to come spend the second days of chag in with me in Baltimore. We'd love to host you...

ReplyDeleteA happy minyan is one that starts at 11am and comes with a kiddush afterwards. And with no need to wear tefillin over chol, I'm in heaven.
ReplyDeleteshkoyach on another successful happy minyan, especially shkoyach to our baalei tefilla stoke & the great mike sohn (thats not to say stoke isnt great too, but, you know, he's mike sohn), and also thanks to our organizer a-licht, kohen hoenig, chasan dmw, srullster on guitar, etc.
