  8. I know sweety, maybe one day we'll be accepted into the Stollel chevra. Until that happens all we can do is keep davening. The truth is, this is a very holy group of boys. They must sense that we are lacking in our kedushah. Maybe this whole ignoring us thing is a form of yissurim and purification that they are putting us through to bring us to a level of acceptable kedushah and taharah. The problem is us Roovy, not them. We must continue to work until we attain the spiritual level that the Stollel chevra have come to accept, and rightfully so I may add. Keep shteiging my zeeskeit.
    Love,
    Mommy

  9. I'm not a betting man but I have some inside info on a few things...

1)The name may or may not come out of the megillah (specifically Chapter 9 vs 26).

    2) Just because I had a kid doesn't mean I can change the nusach of the minyan. (not that there is anything wrong with that)

3)Since I am currently running the show in my house (read bathtime did not happen) the preparations for aforementioned kiddush might not reach Tully Skaist shishi shel sukkkos levels. But I will try to be mikayame Esther Chapter 1 vs. 8

    4) Can the rabbinic intern get me Levi?

    5) Thank you all so much for your warm wishes. I cannot tell you what a zchus it is to bask in the warmth and light of the bnei machshava tovah.

  17. first of all beautiful name, second @zlou-im with you all the way brother, i miss those yeshiva days where we could wake up at 8:30, go to tfilloh, eat a nice breakfast, preferably eggs and sauce, with a side of rice pilaf, and then roll into a nice strong morning seder. THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!!

  19. Thank you to all the members of the Stollel, Project Recharge, and the Neo-Hassidic movement for coming to my naming today. My father told me that he still owes A-Licht megillas esther Chapter 1 vs. 8. He tells me that it is a tremendous zchus to have been named by such a chashva Rebba and in such a holy tzibbur. He also told me to remind you that we should never forget to whom Aderes and Emunah really belong too!

    CHAZAK!

  24. actually the furst train is a pre-stollel, pre-project recharge, pre-aderes emunah shtick from the couch master himself....i think i might be the only one old enough here to get it, and to have actually been on that very train....

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ zlou- thanks for those 2 shout outs

    ReplyDelete
  26. Whoa, Roovain, are u serious? If thats true then ur like older than my dad...

    ReplyDelete
  27. I would hope your dad is younger than 82, I can't believe im 82 years old already. wow.

    ReplyDelete
  28. alicht- the furst train has nothing to do with you and the nickname that you so cleverly came up with for yourself. As such, it was not a shout out at all.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It sounded like you said you were the graduating class of 82. I dont believe that you are 82 whatsoever
