passingly, the Bnei Yisaschar points out that the first day of Sivan is referred to as "Hayom haZeH"; the day when G-d commanded men to seperate from their wives in order to prepare for Matan Torah. This Seperation, he notes, is reflective of the Tzeiruf of Shem Meforash for Chodesh Sivan: Yud - Vav - Hey - Hey, as in the Male attributes (influencing letters) are grouped indipendantly and so are the female (receiving) letters. Perhaps we should take some time on Rosh Chodesh Sivan to Seperate a little (anyone know of a nearby forest or field?) and focus on our individual potential to receive and be influenced in our learning of Torah, Tefila, and Avoda in general...
well, i guess its just some food for thought. May we all be Zoche to be Mekabel the Torah with Ahavah, Yirah, Shleimut, and all the other good things that G-d gives us to use in this world... Chodesh Tov!
